Jonathan Cape is delighted to announce that Julian Barnes will be taking part in one public event this year.

He will be in conversation with the biographer Hermione Lee about his Man Booker Prize-winning novel THE SENSE OF AN ENDING.

Every penny raised - through both ticket and book sales - will be donated to the charity Freedom from Torture. For 25 years, Freedom from Torture has been helping torture survivors in the UK rebuild their lives. Julian Barnes is a patron of the charity.
